Strut Brace

The brace I have is not in this pic. Basically, when you turn, the front of your car collapses in upon itself under the stress (only a tiny bit). By placing a strut brace between the 2 strut housings in the engine bay, the front is held steady under hard cornering, making handling more responsive and better. It also keeps body twist down under hard acceleration, so it does keep the wheels gripping better, so it is kind of a performance mod, as well as a handling mod.


INSTALLATION :

My brace cost $180 from SP Motorsports. Order the one for the SHO, it fits. Simply remove the 3 bolts from the top of the strut housings, and stick the brace on them. Rebolt them, and tighten the adjustor on the brace (if it has one, mine did.)
