In stock form, the 1st gen Taurus is a big sloppy boat. Handling is almost non-existant. My first decision was to go with the SHO-Shop front strut tower brace. Luckilly all SHO suspension parts fit on all non-sho tauruses. With the installation finished (simply bolt 6 bolts), the car was more ridgid and handled a little better. Definate plus.

STICKY TIRES

Well, with the strut brace helping me corner, I decided it was time to get some good sticky tires to help me stick to the road while I'm cornering! I found out afterwards that tires are the main thing for handling performance. I went with Pirelli P400s. They are WONDERFUL. I can stick to a melting icecube in these things.
